Jamela T. Brown, originally from Rand, West Virginia (the hometown of NFL Hall of Famer Randy Moss), has been crafting poetry for over 25 years. Her latest book, Chronos to Kairos: A Poetry Journal with Guided Prompts to Embrace the Gift of Time, offers readers a captivating journey with each turn of the page. Known also as J. Tanae’, Jamela co-hosts and serves as the co-executive producer of the KROSS BARZ Podcast. She holds a BA in Psychology from Marshall University and is a licensed social worker with a passion for supporting young adults. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, Jamela is a dedicated member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., living a purpose-driven life and inspiring others to do the same.
