The Next 10 Days: Ushering in America's 45th President
Workshop Presenter:
Catherine Fleming Bruce
Author and Global Governance and Policy Expert
Saturday, October 29 @
2:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, November 8th, ten days after the conclusion of this ninth National Black Book Festival, we will elect America's 45th President. Our votes will elect state leaders, and our voices will be carried to Congress by those we send to represent us. This seminar will provide ideas and strategies that we as citizens, as readers and authors, as students of history and politics can use to FIRE UP the next ten days, in order that they will bear positive fruits for our people, for our nation and for the world, starting Friday, January 20, 2017.

Catherine Fleming Bruce is Principal at TNOVSA, focused on media, governance and policy, historic preservation and global projects.   Her global work has included presentations for University of South Carolina’s Walker Institute of International and Area Studies; at Les Instituts d’Etudes Politiques (IEP) in France, and serving as a United Nations World Summit for the Information Society observer.  She is active in politics, serving as statewide secretary for the South Carolina Democratic Party's Labor - Progressive Caucus.
