Become a National Black Book Festival Non-Profit Partner

The National Black Book Festival (NBBF) is an annual event in Houston that occurs during the last weekend in October. The event is sponsored by, one of the largest online sources for African-American literature, and event attracts over 100 authors from across the country, as well as publishers, book clubs, libraries and individual readers. We will celebrate our 12th anniversary this year and would love to have your organization as one of our non-profit partners. Dates for this year are Oct. 24-26, 2019.

Non-profit, 501(3)(c) organizations can partner with NBBF to expose their members to dozens of African-American authors, promote African-American literature, and gain exposure for their groups. The annual cost to be a non-profit partner is only $100.00 and includes the following benefits:

  • Listing on the NBBF website as an official Non-Profit Partner within two business days of registration
  • Listing in the NBBF newspaper (10,000 copies distributed to schools throughout the greater Houston area about 3 weeks before the event)
  • Sponsored post on the NBBF Facebook page (w/85,000+ fans) announcing you as an official Non-Profit Partner
  • Two tickets to a private event with one of the featured authors
  • Two tickets to one of the special events of your choice (opening reception, power lunch, Friday breakfast, or Saturday breakfast)
  • 50 copies of the NBBF newspaper mailed to you for distribution among your membership in September

If your organization would like to also have a vendor table at the 2019 NBBF (Oct. 24-26), you may do so for an additional $200.00. The vendor table includes two chairs, two badges, and two tickets to the Friday and Saturday breakfast. A vendor table is NOT required to be a NBBF Non-Profit Partner.
